Max Shows with lots of season not recording in High Def

Is there a way/workaround to get newer episodes of long-running shows in 720p (that is the highest I record)? For example, when trying to record the entire series of Worst Cooks in America (26 seasons) the best available is 576 x 432. If I add all episodes to the queue, even the newest season will only record in 480p. I believe Deadliest Catch and Dirty Jobs are the same. The same thing happened with The Great Food Truck Race, but somehow, I was able to pull up a later episode that showed 720p resolution For that series, S1 recorded in 480p, and the rest in 720p.

I found the tip in jpp72 bug tracker back then... I use the method for RTL+. I simply enter the direct video link from the latest episode, which is 1080p, into the browser. So everything is loaded in the original release as it exists.

Season 1 was in 2010, probably filmed in 2009. It was probably not filmed/broadcast in HD

Thanks for the quick reply and I get that, but S26 is also 480p and it is recent.

This is due to the known problem that Streamfab only ever analyzes the first episode. There is a workaround. But I don't know whether it also works in this module.

You have to try to force Streamfab to analyze the latest episode!

Thank you for the response. I think that is how I got The Great Food Truck Race to record in 720p. Any tips on how to do that? Or do you have a suggested workaround?
