We're at that point now, with 5 being released as 'stable'
Since this thread has been opened up, it's safe to say that
A: they have not
or
B: it's not where users can easily find it

The beginning of my sentence to which you are replying was
"release notes do mention a future feature of being able to download from multiple services concurrently"We are NOT yet at that future feature. Concurrent downloads feature is NOT YET available. AND WHEN we get there, when they make the feature available, that is when I hope they add something.
IF you want to question their releasing version 5 before all features from the release notes' "Things to do in the following updates:" section have been implemented, I would say yeah, as a user it would have been nice to have a fully upgraded, with all features, app.
BUT there are enough changes now, that putting out a minimum viable product (feature ready in this iteration) could help keep things simple which could aid with identifying bugs and hopefully fixing them, rather than putting out a fully changed product with a ton of new features that could be harder to track down bugs.... Not to mention that those features on the "things to do" list are NOT advertised as being in the product now either in the forums, or on the web page selling StreamFab.
The email sent advertising StreamFab 5 makes clear the updates include and the FUTURE enhancements

Along with the recent UI & UE improvements, we are glad to introduce the all-new StreamFab 5 to you.
●
New Tab Display Mode: StreamFab Ver. 5 will now display all streaming services with multiple tabs built into the main interface.
●
New Task Manager: Upgraded management of the download queue allows you to manage all tasks and downloads in one clear place.
●
Entirely Improved UI & UE: A more refined sidebar design, with a clearer main interface.
All those are there. Tab Display mode akin to the old non-streaming service interface is implemented for all parts of the app. The new task manager does allow you to see/manage (i.e. delete, move to top), all downloads in one screen. and while we can debate if its improved or not, the UI & UE does have the side bar.
If you read the full email it doesn't list anything else that IS INCLUDED NOW.
It further states:

Some great new features in future updates
will support downloading from multiple services at the same time, automatically downloading new TV episodes from subscribed streaming services, and more! We appreciate your continued support as we make improvements.
(red added by me)
Notice it says WILL not DOES.
