Not getting H264 "main" quality options

Hi, first post here! :)

The thread name says it all really, since a couple of weeks or so Streamfab is not showing me any H264 MAIN options after analyzing on Netflix, no matter how old or new the title I'm interested in is...

The "MAIN" preference is of course selected and I haven't really touched anything in the options lately, the program just simply started giving me only H264 HIGH download options with no alternatives.

I do have recently downgraded from Netflix Premium to Netflix Standard, but it shouldn't affect the HIGH/MAIN preference as far as H264 is concerned... right?

Is this happening to others as well? Thank you :)

If VIP Setting NF Audio Codec is EAC3 you get always High profile
if not EAC3 offered by NF.

So if no EAC3 is offered you must change the NF Audio Codec to AAC
and then should also work the MAIN profile.

I have found that if I set in VIP setting for NF to x265 -HDR10 , at the end of download says my setting presets were not available, downloaded "Best quality available" . When I check the files they are always "main" profile with eac audio . When I set to h264 i get the "high" profile files.

It's normal that NF offer HDR10 only with Premium plan - see here

But that nothing to do with High profile - this only affected H264

When I check the files they are always "main" profile with eac audio . When I set to h264 i get the "high" profile files.

Sorry , maybe I wasn't clear with what I was saying.
I also have NF basic with adds so no x265 HDR10 for me, but if it is set in my VIP settings the files SF gets are H264 main profile with EAC audio , which from what i understood is what original poster was after. If settings are set to H264 I then get H264 high profile with EAC audio
In Canada here, no particular title , anyone I try .

@pjr57 is right. There is a bug in StreamFab that has been there for quite some time now. Many months actually. I noticed it when i decided i was done with this forum so i never reported it.

If you set your video codec to H265 - HDR10, and H265 is not available, you will always get the H264 Main Profile, no matter what your audio settings are and that's even if you select High as your H264 profile.

If the item doesn't have H265 and no EAC3 audio, you will get the H264 High Profile.

Here are my settings:

TV Show Outlander (EAC3 Available):

TV Show Dan Da Dan (EAC3 NOT Available):

The only way for me to get the High Profile for Outlander is to have my settings like this (Audio can't be AAC):

And the only way for me to get the Dan Da Dan Main Profile is with these settings:
