Disney movies do not DL with subtitles even though English [CC] is selected

I have tried both Pixar and Marvel titles and neither DL with English Subtitles
Version 6.2.2.7

I only tried one Pixar movie, Inside Out 2. In order to get subtitles, I had to uncheck anything that was selected and then check only English[CC].
NO, we should not need to do this, but it worked to get them, for that movie, for now.
How does 6226 or lower work? I could try going back to 6223, but no time right now to test.

Sadly, that had no effect for me. I unchecked and then checked the English [CC] option, but no subtitles were included in my download.
This time with version 6.2.2.8. I don't have earlier versions to try.

Not all Marvel titles have en forced.
For example if you select en forced for s01e01 and dl s01e02 that have none ..
.. SF can't dl, because not offered - sample here

If you want a precise answer, you need to offer exact info => Which title?
It is best to attach your Streamfab.log after an error attempt.

I don't see the OP talking about forced SRT, I certainly could have missed it.

And yes, it would help if we got specific titles. I just randomly picked a Pixar movie, Inside Out 2.

And a log might help, but for YouTube, that's pointless when it doesn't get CC/SRT; there is nothing in the log.

In the first attempt, no CC/SRT came remuxed. On the second attempt, I unchecked and then checked CC, and I got them remuxed into the movie.
This happened in the past with another provider, I can't recall off the top of my head which one, but we had to uncheck and then check the option for it to work.

I have not tried 6228 and might try the same title I tried with 6227, but I am not attempting any other title without at least 2 titles given.

ADDED: Now with 6228, I did the same movie as I said I was going to try. In the first attempt, leaving the default selections for SRT, I got the 2 SRT's. SEE the screenshot below.

On the second attempt with just CC checked, I got one SRT. I highly recommend using the file type in SF as MKV(FFmpeg), for remuxing.

Of course you are right - no forced subs mentioned ..
.. this happens when I'm "distracted" at work
and mix my thoughts with the previous topic.

But in principle, my statement is just as valid for non forced subs.

Ok, now we have titles. As I stated, though, I did try Inside Out 2 and got the SRT using remux mkv(FFmpeg) options.
So, are you using remux or saving to an SRT file? If saving to SRT, I would assume you're not getting anything, as you would see the separate srt file quickly.

All I can come to is location, I am in the USA, it's never a specific account issue, so that's out.
I struggle with telling people to do a clean install, but other than that, it might be specific to your location, as you should get the srt/cc.
Or are u using a VPN?

ADDED: I got the srt/cc for amazing Spider-Man. This is using the latest 6228.

Since my last post I have uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled StreamFab - subtitles still missing on some sources - for example:
I DLd "The Bourne Ultimatum" (digital copy) from Fandango at Home - result - no subtitles.
so, then I DL'd "The Bourne Ultimatum" (same digital copy) from Amazon - works fine - included subtitles.

I was digging thru the log files and found this:

I gave most of my ideas. The only other idea is to use extract to srt file.

We never know why things work for some and not others. I tried 2 of the Disney+ movies you listed and got CC/SRT remuxed into them.

I can't speak of fandango other than the free with ads movies, the subtitles remux, and work.

Hope things work out. Can't imagine what could cause it. I was thinking VPN, but that is more likely to cause download failure or endless analyzing.

It's up to Germania if they want a streamfab.log. They may see something in it, provided it's a full log.
First, with streamfab closed, delete the streamfab.log. Then open streamfab, go to a movie that has CC/SRT, but you know from the past it doesn't have it.
Download that movie and then close streamfab and attach the steamfab.log to a post here.

Since now, you seem all over the place, make sure to note the provider and movie you tried as well.

Sorry, I don't know what happened, but I meant to include the log file.
So I redid the download with a different title: WandaVision - S01E01 (so the DL didn't take as long) and the result is the same - no subtitles.

and it works too (with half speed - so only 720p tested)

Can you try a different region with vpn server ?
Have you tried to dl the m3u8 fom your subs url ?

Otherwise I can't say why it's different for you

It should only be used to localize or determine the fault
(perhaps the connection or used CDN is your problem)

If you don't want that, I can't help you - sorry about
(Problems that I cannot reconstruct are rarely fixable)

I think you mean "Remux into file" ..
.. it depends on your VIP video format - I get both with CC info

but it's possible that is different for some titles or in others countries
