Peacock downloading AAC audio on 6.2.2.8 and higher

I recently upgraded to 6.2.2.8 and then 6.2.2.9 and started getting AAC 2 channel audio with StreamFab for Peacock. I downgraded to 6.2.2.7 and am getting EAC3 5.1 channel audio again.I tried this on a few series / movies. One specific series is The Hunting Party season 1.

I did try Episode 1 of The Hunting Party and got EAC3. There is no option for Peacock in SF to choose EAC3 or AAC.
Might be a location issue? I am in the USA, I have Peacock through Xfinity, Peacock with Ads.
This was using 6229. I can't say why it does not do it for you in 6229, but does in 6227.
Streamfab has again got to the point where we need access to several versions back to 6220, depending on what you're looking for.

ADDED: In streamfab general settings, I always have EAC3 selected. I don't know if that helps or not.

I am in the US midwest. I just tried 6.2.2.9 again with episodes 1 and 10 and see the same issue 2 ch AAC audio with the same settings you have. I dropped back to 6.2.2.7 and it works fine. I keep many copies of StreamFab just for these types of reasons.

Yeah, it seems 6227 is the best bet for constant EAC3 audio. Depending on what I try, I sometimes do get EAC3 with 6230, but it's too inconsistent. I, too, have multiple copies of SF on my computer, so any more use on Peacock, and it will be 6227. I like to use the latest as much as possible, but lately it's been we need multiple copies of SF.
Sadly, we as users have to fix it, as we know 98% of the time the next update won't come for a week since the last update.

You can analyze individual episodes in Peacock the same way you can on Hulu.
To make it easier, add the series to My Stuff.
Click the show from within My Stuff, SF will analyze.
Cancel it when the download window pops up.
Now go back into My Stuff again, click the series, then find the episode you want, click on that, and it will analyze that episode.

The latest version, 6.2.3.1, still is only downloading as AAC 2.0 for me.

I know there is always hope that it was missed in the 6231 change log.
It still seems that 6227 is best for the most constant EAC3.

Although more is coming in EAC3 than I thought, with the use of 6231.

BTW: Where is the download window that was talked about for Peacock like we get for Netflix and Amazon, where you can choose EAC or AAC?

Not sure what I did. I tried installing an older version of streamfab which did not work, but when I updated to the latest version again I now get 5.1 audio on The Americas.

Last Breath only has 2ch AAC stereo, so I guess it's not fixed yet.

Yeah, that's what most people need to do for some reason. Use SF version 6227.

As long as 6232 works for me, I will use that.

Just updated to the latest, 6.2.3.2 and same issue.

Make sure to make a feedback report, which will also send logs to streamfab. So they can possibly figure out the issue.

For some reason, 6232 downloads in EAC3 for me, and it really is weird that those who do have the issue can go back to 6227 and get EAC3.
Because otherwise, I would say maybe a location or account issue, but that can't be it if 6227 works.

I guess it's too much to ask, but how about a download window for Peacock similar to Amazon and Netflix that lets you choose AAC or EAC3?
