I know it's fixed but PLEASE, for the sake of my OCD, can you add a space between the language and [Forced]?

    Great News!

Since there was nothing in the Changelogs, I thought it was still not fixed.

    Of course unchanged:

    Try it.

Luckily, you can use the Spankbang website again.

Either way, now that the Dragon Boat Festival is over, hopefully the developer will fix it.

I can confirm the bug as well. It is not even an option to see English [Forced].
Easiest one to verify this behavior with, without the need for any mods or individual analysis is Etoile.
For English at least it shows English and English CC so figuring out which one is Forced is process of elimination. Other languages though, yeah, redundant track names.

I didn't mean to criticize your help in any way, just the place you both chose ..
.. I'm sorry if it didn't come across that way.
Apology accepted, and now we have achieved global peace.

This is the place to be: Subtitle dropdown menu

There are plenty of other bad behaviors on the forum that can be scolded. Posting without logs, posting trash talk when it is your first post on the forum, etc. I don't post a lot, but I pay attention. When I do post it is not to complain about others trying to help.

Anyway, arguing about this is pointless. Thanks to the link to where my issue had previously been reported.

Agreed. Which is why I said their experience was due to "yet another bug in SF". Nowhere did I say this had anything to do with the problem reported by the OP.

That has burned me several times so I've thrown in the towel and have a post processing task that removes unwanted subtitles and makes the correct one default / forced.

My logic (without looking at the code) is something like this:

If default audio track === EN
    • Remove EN-standard tracks
    • Keep EN-forced, setting it to default: true, forced: true
If default audio track !== EN
    • Set EN-standard to default: true, forced: true
    • Set EN-forced to default: false, forced: false
This is actually a problem with Streamfab. This behavior also occasionally occurs in the settings. However, it has nothing to do with the original problem that Amazon changed something and Streamfab can no longer distinguish between the tracks or name them correctly.
