Error Message or No Video Option

So is downloading from YouTube movies at 720 or higher just not a thing? I just want to limit any expectations

Once yt-dlp (aka YoutubeToMP3Process) has been updated in SF,
all resolutions offered should work again => like here

I purchased a movie a year or so back on Youtube Movies but after purchasing the SF downloader I get told that paid content cannot be downloaded better than 480. They did give me a refund but I'm still waiting for some update to enable at least 720 for paid movies.

I guess its the same for tv shows too? There's a series available but I can only find it in HD via paid Youtube but if I can't put it on Bluray myself then I wont be paying £32.99 for it so its their loss.
An update to enable paid content in 1080 would be great

So Google were a bit sneaky, back around Covid time they said there was a technical issue impacting HD playback on paid content, shortly after they updated things to say that via web browsers (unless it's Safari) then most shows and movies will only be in SD and HD playback is only on selected devices. In my experience it's a very small minority but there is some content that does actually play in HD.

It's fixed with yt-dlp 2025.08.11 ..
.. so we need updated SF with latest stable yt-dlp

btw: The first attempt offered me 1080p, but I couldn't get it (without Premium)

I have premium and I get what you get in SF. DRM'd even when using yt-dlp

Recently youtube started "really" enforcing PO tokens, don't know if it's affecting this

I try to be cautious with downloads from some providers. If I download a 4 minute video, I wait at least 4 minutes before downloading the next video.
Only time I have ever really seen a problem is if I am playing the video on one screen and downloading on another. So best course is to PAUSE playback before hitting the down arrow analyze button.
