I am giving this box one last chance before I smash it against the wall.
I have installed Hanewin NFS shares on my Windows Home Server V1.0 and my new MED600X3D works perfectly with it and I set it up without even looking at the INCLUDED INSTRUCTIONS.
I have also set it up XBMC 2.2 program on my PC and again no problems but when I try to EXACTLY the same procedure on this box it fails to find the network. My router is giving it an IP address and I have tried it with DHCP and manually. With DHCP it was giving it an IP address of 192.168.0.10 which works fine with Media Connect Shares, but not with NFS shares. My Windows 8 PC can find it on my network with all permissions exactly the same as my MED600X3D with the exception of IP address.
I have tried entering nfs://192.168.0.2/music manually for the music source where the IP address is my server and the music is the NFS share and this works perfectly on the XBMC program on my PC, so what is wrong with this piece of **** and can someone please help resolve this issue or is there yet another fault on this box.
