I was so happy to see this fixed. I was able to download some of the 4K content i wanted.
The following marked as 4K would only DL as 720p however. Still trying others.

Nobe32 Those files of yours look way too small to be valid files. For example, it says that Godzilla x Kong is < 4 GB. Mine was almost 18 GB so I'd try that one again.

For example look at my Thunderdome report - It says 3 GB and stops playing about 30 minutes in. That happened for a lot of the downloads so I'm trying them again and for the rest I'm going to play them in VLC and skip to the end to see if video is still playing.

Yeah thanks for the heads up. I didn't notice that until today. They all played in VLC but not on my Plex server. Going to try HDR 10 compatible DL instead of DV.

This is truly strange behavior. It shows a full size. But then reports smaller file size after completion.

Here are some other TV shows - not yet mentioned in this thread - that I was able to download yesterday in 1080p H265 SDR, with two or more audio tracks wherever possible (I haven't tested 4K nor HDR as I have no use for these):
- House of the Dragon: The House That Dragons Built (just season 2, season 1 was 720p)
- Fantasmas
- Hacks (tested just season 3)
- King of Zanzibar
- MILF of Norway
- The Outlaws (tested just season 3)
- The Cleaning Lady s03e12 (other episodes in season 3 were all 720p)
- Smiling Friends (just season 2, season 1 was 720p)
- Young Sheldon s07e10 up until s07e14 (s07e08 and s07e09 were 720p, I have not tested earlier ones)

Maybe someone finds this list useful for testing.

The download process was as laggy and buggy as usual (a lot of restarts were required because the download often hangs in the middle for no reason) but in the end all episodes are reported as downloaded.

Also - seeing the concerns about a file size - I tried playing all of the above episodes (used some old version of PotPlayer for that) and scrubbed to the end to make sure they are complete. They were also tested (via a plugin in Directory Opus) for tracks' lengths reported (that audio and video tracks have similar lengths, codecs, similar bitrate, etc.) and everything seems consistent. So, the problem with smaller file size seems to only occur for 4K / HDR downloads (which I didn't try).

I also noticed that no matter what I do, when I select House of the Dragon S2, episodes 4 or 5, it downloads the Behind the Scenes version, not the actual episode. All other episodes download properly.

Well I'm glad this works for some of you. I've been trying all day to DL Godzilla x Kong: The new empire in any resolution with no luck.
Tried a clean install and that didn't help either. Some things I noticed (just FYI) is my DL count didn't change after five attempts. And Max starts a promo video before analyzing starts which causes a redirect error briefly before DL begins.

try closing streamfab and try deleting you cache / cookies & temp files.
restart streamfab and try again.

The strange thing is that for me this has never been the case - even when I've tried to reproduce the behavior, both episodes would download correctly - and since yesterday, even in 1080p.

Therefore, I suspect that this can be region-dependent (mine is Poland, where Max platform exists since June 11th 2024).

Also - just in case - apart from House of the Dragon there is also House of the Dragon: The House That Dragons Built which has identical episode numbers - is it possible for SF to confuse the two?

Thanks for the tip. I did that first before the clean install. And used Ashampoo for the uninstall.
I'll wait some more as Wilson stated this was still a problem in his post.

Chameleon here's what I got. I'm convinced this isn't a SF issue because it decrypts whatever is downloaded successfully.
I think it's a regional issue with MAX. The DL hangs at about 42% for a few seconds and then appears to complete. After processing and remuxing I never get the whole file.
Looking at the log file shows the video is download in segments and not a continuous stream. I pinged my network speed and it's about 1GBps on the DL so maybe it's the MAX server.
I recently signed up for MAX trough Amazon. So I get good 1080p through them. I was just hoping for the DV 4K.
Anyway thanks for sharing your screen shots. I'll keep trying maybe I'll get lucky one day.
