HBO Max Endless "Waiting to Download", never starts

    StreamFab x64 6.2.0.6

So a week ago I successfully downloaded Dune Prophecy S01E01 from max, albeit limited to 720p as expected.

Today the new episode S01E02 got released. So I'm trying to download, and it just sits on "Waiting to Download" forever. It never starts.

I tried other random videos, like "Caddo Lake", and it never starts on them either.

Anyone else able to download Dune Prophecy S01E02 from max?

Maybe there's a window of time not allowing downloads for a few hours after release?

No, there is not. Once it's released you can download it. I know I did.

Same issue here, when you try to download a list of chapters, you need to stop a run the list every chapter. It doesn't start automatically.

The same thing happens for me, but I see a extremely momentary error of "Page isn't working. Too many redirects" and that's as far as it goes. I've read its supposed to be a browser cache thing, but I don't know if SF uses the chrome browser on my system, or has a built in variant. Either way, it's totally annoying to say the least.

EDIT: I'm adding my log files to see if there is anything in them that will help.

Please try a clean reinstallation. Then try again.

Important: Never use the update function in the program itself!

How to do a clean install of the latest StreamFab 1. Totally delete the contents of your StreamFab Log & Temp directories. Please refer to your StreamFab Settings as to where you have told SF where to save them. 2. Use a "professional" uninstall program to completely remove the old version of StreamFab. Make

No, Streamfab has its own browser based on Chrome.

To clear the cache and cookies of the internal browser, go to the settings, copy the path of the TEMP directory. Close StreamFab fully and delete the temp directory. Then just start StreamFab again; this will log you out of all sites, so be aware.

It might also be that they are working on it because they are planning to switch to PlayReady for HBOMax & MAX, if I'm not wrong, which will result in higher resolutions (at least 1080, and even 4K was possible last week).

I tried doing a clean uninstall, I use Revo for that works great, reinstalled, got everything set up, but still does the download one item, maybe two, then stuck at infinite waiting to download. I also see the too many redirects error as well, so it may be the changing to PlayReady as mentioned. I'll just give it a while to see if it can be fixed.

I was able to download one video, then it would "hang" and not start another. That was with both 6.2.0.5 and 6.2.0.6. I had to restart Streamfab again to get another video. Today, I did a full removal using an uninstaller and also deleted the temp and log folders. After installing 6.2.0.7 the MAX site won't load at all, just shows a little wheel that continues revolve.
After reinstalling 6.2.0.5, I am able to download from MAX again without restarting to get more than one video.

i was able to work around this problem by using amazon prime, subscribing to max on amazon, and downloading the video through amazon.

also this lets me get the video in 1080p from amazon, instead of being limited to 720p through max.
