Had to replace my hard drive and start with a clean install. After doing so DVDFab does not load a DVD or Bluray from the drive. You put a disc in and nothing happens. You can hit add and it sees the drive but will not load the movie. File explores show the title of the movie in the drive so it is reading.

Please try the following steps: Close DVDFabIn your web browser, log in to your Member Center account (https://www.dvdfab.cn/member.htm?dla...ackID=navmenu2) and select License Authorizations from the list on the leftScroll down until you see My AuthorizationsClick on the Deauthorize All buttonLogout of the Member Center and restart DVDFab with no discs in any driveFrom the DVDFab Settings menu, select AuthorizeEnter your account information (same as the Member Center login)DVDFab will contact the server and authorize your repaired PC. It should restart normally.When you restart, check License Info in Settings to make sure your account was recognized and activated. Post again if the above does not restore normal functions..

Still no work. Everything says activated other then the trial UHD stuff. What next?

i have the same error no matter what blu ray i i put in. it doesnt read the disc.i also tried the deauthorize troubleshootingwithout success

Well I tried to submit a message to tech support and get caught in an endless loop trieing to pass the Captcha question, it just keep asking a new question. Starting to question my purchase when you can not easily contact support.

I noticed under Drives the optical drive shows no name or version, should it?mopar_mudderTry this: Under Device Manage, select "Uninstall the device" under the drop-down options, then reboot your PC and let Windows reinstall the drive. Although your Windows seems to recognize the drive, there may be some I/O communication issue between DVDFab and the I/O interface. This has solved issues I have had in the past with a similar (but not DVDFab) problem. Worth a try anyway. Can you actually play the disc with a software player if you have one installed on your PC?

Either DVD or Blu-ray has the same problem when loading with DVDFab?After you insert the movie disc to your PC drive, please use a software player like DVDFab Player 5 or other software player you have to play the disc first, after that, start up DVDFab to try again and see if it will make a difference. 32 Bit is the same thing, it doesn't read. What I don't get is you can click on the + to load a source and it sees the disc. I attached a screen shot.

Hi mopar_mudder, I had the same/similar issue yesterday. I purchased the 4K remaster of Punisher, it came with a bluray version of the movie and since I do not have a 4K reader in my PC I ripped the bluray version of the movie. When I put the disk in DVDFab 10.2.1.7 it wouldn't add it to the task list. The volume label of the disk showed up in explorer so I expanded the directory tree and dragged the BDMV folder into the window and it worked that way. That is the first disk that I have had to do that to.

Go into your computers device manager, click on the
DVD drives - driver - update driver - restart your computer then start dvdfab and see if it'll read discs again.

This happen awhile back and I uninstalled the DVD driver and let it install again with a computer restart. That made it work again that time, didn't work this time around.

try restarting your computer in safe mode with networking and then start dvdfab and see if dvdfab can see your dvd drive.
also try disabling your windows firewall.

Well I started it in safe mode and DVD Fab read the disc just fine. Restarted in normal mode and we'll it works now. No idea why starting in safe mode fixed it, but as of right now it is working.

Update, wondering if remote desk top can have something to do with this. Today I went in through remote desktop, which is how I normally rip my disc. It would not read the disc through remote desk top. Went I got on the machine locally and it read it.

OK DVD Fab definitely has issues with remote desk top. I loaded a disc on the local computer and it read it fine and selected the track to rip. I then logged in with remote desktop to try and start the rip and it says the disc can not be found. I can remote in using a program called Tight VNC and it works fine. So between Remote Desk Top and DVD Fab their is an issue.
