New problem with Amazon

I seem to be having a new problem when trying to DL any series from Amazon. Streamfab only lists and allows a single episode to be DLed. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue? I am using version 6.1.7.1

I realize you are the OP. Your original post makes no reference to missing subtitles and is not mentioned until post #12. It's your issue, do as you choose.

I don't (or more realistically can't) use SF any more so it's no skin off my back. Why am I still here? To stand behind folks here who like me have all taken a back seat as well as those doing their homework before purchasing. You're not going to get any support from SF, I can tell you that much.

Does anyone have any info on the no subtitles issue?

They seem to work on shows and movie I try. Get the program MediaInfo, and it will tell you for sure if subtitles are there.
Maybe check SF settings?

Looks like the competition is having the same 5.1 to 2.0 audio issue, so it appears to be a change by Amazon.

I think the audio issue is only in Australia NZ and Japan.

Everything I've grabbed from Amazon using the competition recently has all been EAC3 6 channel save for one very old movie (1990s). I only saw the issue twice and re-selecting the title restored the EAC3 option. I don't have time for re-encoding.

I will add there is an option in the settings to grab surround if available even if only stereo is available in the download choices. And it works.

In Amazon 6.1.7.5 is everything AAC audio with no H265 HEVC, why no HEVC codec anymore?

Looks like the other guy has fixed the AAC 2.0 issue for Amazon Prime US. So far not a single title downgraded to stereo.

I don't think they fixed anything... they said more than once that they won't do anything until Anazon's done with the changes. More likely Amazon fixed itself.

Because it's not a download, for a start. What I recommend is buying an actual downloader (aka @NewMelle 's "the other guy") license since you're now using a screen recorder/re-encoder. Failing that, Wondershare Uniconverter isn't too pricey and will allow you to adjust the audio forward or backward to sync with the video, as long as the delay is consistent - which it might not be. The conversion shouldn't affect video or audio quality, and they should give you enough trial attempts so you can determine whether it works for you.

Suggestion:

Play the file with Kodi. You can adjust the audio offset on-the-fly and once you find the right offset, Use Avidemux to adjust it directly in the file.

Both programs are free and avidemux can fix the offset without converting or encoding

I noticed that on several titles I grabbed in SF 6.1.7.?, towards the end the audio would go out of sync. That drives me as batshit crazy as buffering! :mad:

Ugh, so aggravating. The only time I've encountered that was with HBO, and once was enough. I've downloaded videos from Prime in Canada or the UK with a VPN in which the audio lagged, but I was able to use the converter I mentioned because I already owned it, and I didn't have @jpp72 around to advise me about freeware.

I've run into situations like that also. The audio dialog is right speaker only, nothing in center. It's like everything is shifted to the right one speaker. Truly annoying. F.R.E.D.I. is and has been goofed up all along. I've let them know but who am I, just a peon who knows nothing.

You can also adjust the time delay (per audio track) with mkvtoolnix-gui - Avidemux wont mux certain subtitle tracks,but if this is irrelevant Avidemux is a good choice

True but the reason i said Avidemux is because i don't know his preference in containers. If it's MP4, MKVToolNix only remuxes to MKV while Avidemux can do both and more
