Remember "Recode" and "Clevergate" during our six-month company holiday?
Seriously, guys, what are you doing with this garbage?

I was actually glad I have access to cleverget when SF stopped working on Amazon. I mostly get shows, and they come in satisfactory quality, you get multiple choices of video and audio and even subtitles. The shows are hard to get using other sources. The movies are easier via other sources like Torrents and newsgroups.
My final report on RecordFab from here on, referred to as RF.
RF BAD audio out-of-sync issues using both 1x and 2x recording speed.
RF has no selection of subtitles or audio, only 1080p or 720p video.
No subtitles, even when subtitles are shown while recording from plex.tv. Plex for some reason has two ways to access, either app.plex.tv which is supported by RF, or watch.plex.tv which is NOT supported by RF.
File size is the same for both 720p and 1080p which is a bit confusing, the 1 hour, 37 min movie was 13Gig using either 1080p or 720p.
It was saved as a mp4, you have no choice in this matter, but really is one of these formats (ts m2t m2s m4t m4s tmf ts tp trp ty), info thanks to MediaInfo program.
I used VLC Media Player as that plays any possible format, if that don't play a video file it usually means the video file is corrupted.
The audio out of sync issue is what made my mind up to add RF to my uninstallation list.
Along with not getting subtitles and limited choices in settings.Others can test RF or not, I just figured I would see if it was a possible solution for Plex, and it is not.
RF claims to support numerous sites, which I don't doubt, but I feel all sites will have the same issue, as with Plex, the movies play fine with subtitles and no out of sync audio played directly from the Plex website, but not when recorded with RF.
As simple as the movies seem on Plex no known software seems to fully support downloading all movies, SF hangs on some, in the downloading cue at analyzing.
And the other so-called recorder programs don't even recognize a video is playing, if tried on plex.tv.
As for cleverget like I said I am happy with it when SF breaks, it worked better and faster than SF with their so called cleverget/encode/record mode.
Sadly cleverget has no plans to support Peacock, so thanks again to certain people helping, I was able to come across a program that records and supports Peacock, and we know already Peacock is having issues in SF.
Everyone is welcome to their own option and idea of other programs, we all know what most people think of SF.
I feel it's good to have alternatives, as even cleverget has its bad days, but is updated pretty frequently.
I have access to two other record type programs, with them, they are limited to what sites they do, but you keep hope that out of them all, one will work if you really need the shows and don't want to have to wait till another gets fixed.
So goodbye to RF, maybe I will check back with it in 6 months to a year? Maybe not.
