First experienced this problem trying to acquire Dear Santa on SF 6.2.0.6. Nothing I tried downloading would work. Each time I got this error message:This video is currently unavailable. Please try again.error code: 3005Then I saw 6.2.0.7 was available (despite not listing any Paramount+ fixes) so I installed it and tried again. Same error message.I then deleted the contents out of the Log and Temp directories, started 6207 back up, logged into Paramount+, and tried again. This time I got a different error message:OOPS! We're having some trouble playing this video. Please try again.If you continue to experience issues, check your internet connectionor restart your router.error code: 3304Unlikely that it's either of the things they suggested as I was acquiring earlier just fine. I didn't renew my P+ subscription, so there was no holiday discount. However, I did get Peacock for 1.99 a month for a year, the Hulu Disney package for 2.99 a month for a year, and Netflix for 6.99 a month for a year. I always have Amazon for everything else, a month at a time.

As promised, I updated to 6.2.0.7 after my Thanksgiving dinner. Again, I was able to download Dear Santa, although it seemed to take longer than 6.2.0.5. Ignore the 3.0.0.5 error. Just set SF to download Dear Santa and walk away from it for a while. Given enough time, you should have the complete movie. Patience, my friend. It shouldn't be this way, but the 3.0.0.5 and the slowness seems to be caused by something that Paramount+ is doing. Dear Santa was listed as "New Movie". I downloaded two other movies that were listed as "New Movie" and they both came down rapidly and normally. Obviously, Paramount+ is doing something wrong with Dear Santa. Still, I was just able to download Dear Santa for the third time in 23 minutes. Once with 6.2.0.5 and twice with 6.2.0.7.

Did a complete wipe and reload of the program (the online updater broke a couple releases ago, so this was from the offline installer), did another P+ download after getting everything setup again...and got a 3304 error. Once again, reloading the page got the download to start. Full log before I killed the download attached.

I'd like to clarify something: I *never* let the program update itself. I *always* download the offline installer and use that. When I first reported the problem I did just that: using offline installers, and using software to eliminate leftovers after uninstallation.

I haven't tried 6208 yet as I bought a new computer and am still in the process of setting things up, but I'm sure I'll find out sooner rather than later if it works.

Ok, one fresh re-install (with more deleted directories) later, and my first test yielded yet another 3005. Log (that only says 6.2.0.8) attached; first launch, restart program after moving scheduled tasks ini back, setup directories and preferences, logged into services, did another P+ download, got the 3005, refreshed the page, download proceeds, manually cancelled download, closed program.

Then your problem probably lies in your tasks.

This was manually downloading the file, not a scheduled task.

Tried a movie that I'm pretty sure his been on the service for a while (i.e. not a recent DRM change or anything) and got a 3304. This time after refreshing I had to hit Play for it to actually start downloading, but it did.

Somehow you collect errors that I have not seen in anyone else:

I too am experiencing an error code 3005. I was testing Iron Giant and Smile 2 with both having the same results.

The browser will refresh after a minute or so, but still gives the 3005 error saying "The video is currently unavailable. Please Try again."
And SF keeps trying to download it but stays at 0%

Tested on SF 6.2.0.8 and 6.2.0.5 (to see if there was a difference).

I also verified the movie does play on my separate streaming device.

That's me killing the downloading after confirming I was getting the same behavior as before.

Here I queued up two downloads and then started them. The first one...actually worked without any intervention. The second one I was hit with a 3304 but, once again, refreshing the page got the download to proceed. Attached is that log.

Unfortunately, I can't say anything about that now,
because the log only contains the errors that (unfortunately) everyone always has ..
.. even without error 3304 (of which nothing can be seen in the log)

only both epis with download result: "success"

perhaps an CDN issue at P+ (?)
