The DRM Downloader is not broken, when it works at all others supported sites.

Then name another provider that uses DRM MPD downloader and crashes SF
(with StreamFab.log please)

In any case, I haven't discovered any others so far.
And where are the DRM MPD crash reports from the other providers?
