JD2 hasn't been working for me since at least 6 hours ago.

Does seem they are having more issues and are aware of the issue, but no time frame as to when/if fixed.
Same with yt-dlp is looking into other fixes, but no time frame.
Since about 98% to 99% of YT downloaders are based on using yt-dlp, then everyone will have to wait till a fix comes to yt-dlp.
At first, it seemed JD2 was the answer, as not yt-dlp dependent, but they are crazy replying to use another YT downloader, which again, most are based on yt-dlp..
And JD2 seems to be totally stumped, at least yt-dlp is trying alternatives to get YT working again.
Quoted from JD2 "The issue is happening due to YT fading out old player js and new one not yet supported."
Also, Quoted from JD2 "

What is the ETA for the new player support? Weeks, months, not planned for now?

We don't know. Can be any of days/weeks/months/never."
For users to keep waiting for SF to fix, SF waits till yt-dlp has a fix.
