First of I'm happy that I can download 4K from Fandango at Home (formerly Vudu) now in 6.2.6.0. Thank you @Wilson.Wang and developers!! The rest of this is an FYI or informational post: While I can't speak to what types of files StreamFab can see when trying to download from Fandango At Home (I can't seem to find in log what FAH presents to populate FS's selection boxes), I can only talk about what I see is actually downloaded when I select 4K. Therefore I just wanted to revisit the information I previously shared about Dolby Vision and HDR profiles of the downloads because Fandango At Home is different from HBOMax, Max, etc. at the moment. (See -> https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/streamfab-support/streamfab/404024-streamfab-faq?p=455118#post455118 )There are 3 Dolby Vision profiles I've seen used between HBOMax, Hulu, and UHD/4K Discs.SMPTE ST 2086 -> the file is HDR10 only.dvhe.05.0x -> the file contains Dolby Vision onlydvhe.08.0x or dvhe.07.0x -> the file contains Dolby Vision, but also includes HDR10 as a fall back. When selecting Dolby Vision/DV on downloads from Max/HBOMax, it resulted in a file using the dvhe.08.0x profile (DV with HDR10 fall back). So one single file containing both DV and HDR10.Fandango at Home downloads for Dolby Vision is dvhe.05.0x, meaning Dolby Vision Only, no HDR fall back. So if you download a DV 4K from Fandango At Home, every piece of your playback equipment (TV, streaming box, anything in between) must support Dolby Vision to play it back correctly. Selecting HDR10 for my download does result in a file with SMPTE ST 2086 HDR10 only.So if I want both a DV copy (for my basement and family room TV setups) and an HDR10 copy (for my master bedroom setup), I must download two copies. Also keep in mind this was the same behavior StreamFab exhibited when 4K from Dolby Vision was added, which has since changed. So maybe someone more knowledgeable than I could chime in and confirm if 4K with dvhe.08 or dvhe.07 are listed on Fandango at Home, because if they are, then there might be hope of Fab eventually downloading those.

My understanding is that while Dolby Vision can be up to 12 bit, the dvhe.05.0x profile used for streaming is 10bit base for streaming which is remapped to 12bit. in other words dvhe.05.0x is basically 10bit. profile 5 uses an entirely different colour space to 7 and 8 allowing it to much closer approximate 12 bit master with 10 bits than the usual colour space in the other profiles, hence my use of the word "effectively" ;)

If there is no DV/HDR10 hybrid that can be downloaded by StreamFab, you'll have to create it yourself if you want 1 file.

Can you share the stes to do so? I’m looking at DDVT, and the Doom9 thread, not sure I follow which options to use.

Its not urgent. For now, I’ll just download the HDR10’s since all my TVs can play them. Eventually I’d like combo DV/HDR10 file if possible.

The original stream format:

- HBO Max: HDR10, Dolby Vision Only, Dolby Vision compatible with HDR10. (StreamFab can download HDR10 and Dolby Vision compatible with HDR10 format)

- Fandango / Netflix / Disney+: HDR10, Dolby Vision Only, not have the "Dolby Vision compatible with HDR10” stream format.

And we need to download both HDR10 and Dolby Vision videos from Fandango / Netflix / Disney+, and then merge them to the final Dolby Vision compatible with HDR10 video with DoviTool.

Thank you for confirming that Fandango and Disney+ can download “either or”, and do not present a single file which contains both to download.
