[6261] D+ downloader still has issues with E-AC-3 stereo!

Titles like DuckTales The Movie, which only have eac3 2.0 still get downloaded with aac, it’s clearly an audio selection glitch somewhere in SF that’s been around for ages, can someone look at that? (other than that, 2160p is working great!)

It tried with manually downlad and there is no EAC offered:

as your screenshot shows, you can’t get UHD on manual streaming either, yet SF gets this from somewhere (and it never had a problem filling audio with AAC only when there was AAC only):-

besides, according to disney themselves it should be eac-3 5.1 anyway:-

4k was never required for me to get EAC3 from D+ ..

.. but perhaps anything changed by D+

I’m not saying it was required, what I was saying was just because you can’t get the correct manifest doesn’t mean eac3 isn’t there- your manifest doesn’t show uhd either, but SF gets that, and according to D+ DuckTales the Movie has eac3 5.1 🤷‍♂️

Okay, EAC is offered in USA - but not in Germany ..
.. and now I can confirm that SF show EAC while Downloading and in Downloaded
=> But in result is AAC - same problem with all SF releases

The problem is the D+ offer - not an SF issue

I selected with manual DL EAC3 and get also AAC !

Confirmed, it’s the problem of Disney+.

EAC3 2.0 is marked in the M3U8 file, but it’s AAC 2.0.

And Taiwanese Mandarin audio track is EAC3 5.1.

That’s a weird behaviour by D+, I tried getting whatever the AAC entry was pointing to, and that got AAC too, might as well close this thread.
