Pluto subtitles

Tried all the way back to 6260, and srt is only the first 24 minutes of the movie.

Pluto movie tested, Jack Reacher.
It may depend on which movie people try or maybe location?

Don’t know if this is in any way connected to those reporting the same for Tubi.

Pluto processing and remux also seem to drag in 6265, I usually use 6262.

I don’t think so - it’s only the first part

Looks like I get all files:

and then all parts were converted ..

.. but not merged - my srt end at 00:14:19 (12kB, only part 0 of 11)

SF has had problems forever with: mimeType=“application/mp4” codecs=“wvtt”

btw: All audio+video files remain in the temp folder - but subtitles do not

Ok, thanks. It looks like SF won’t do srt with using Pluto.

I tried other methods, and if I get a srt they all only get the first 14 minutes.

I do know the quality for many movies is not the greatest (576×1024), just wanted to see if srt could be accomplished.

I also went back through my downloads, found some from 8/9/2024, and they don’t even have srt.
I did not realize, as I always remuxed, and see now there is nothing connected to an srt remuxed in the movie files.

I tried YT-DLP but can’t get the right command line to get the SRT.

I have to use another method.

Seems Pluto and Tubi can cause downloaders issue.

Looks like I can’t extract the subs from mp4 (quickly) with yt-dlp ..
.. much easier with N_m3u8DL-RE
