Apple tv too slow

I can´t download nothing on apple tv. The download is too slow. Has anyone run into the same problem?

I try to download 1080p and it take hours. And sometimes a ver error 702 i guess in the final

I have heard some have slow downloading from Apple TV.
That could be so many things. Location, Internet speed etc.
And some providers can throttle download speeds as if viewing via the app on TV, they don’t need to give 1 gig speed, as the apps buffer the streams.

I have 1 gib internet and even if i try to download 480p speed is in kb/s too slow also.

Pepe78 sounds like a local issue, ATV is literally the only service that manages to saturate my synchronous 2.5Gbps… Are you on VPN?

well, what’s the actual download speed as it’s downloading, or do you mean “processing takes long”?

The speed is to slow 1 mb and less. I tried in diferente computers on Windows 10 and Windows 11 and is the same.

Some tine ago i download from Apple TV and I have no issues

just downloaded a 4K episode from ATV with 6277, came through at about 90MBps

Maybe is a local issue. Downloads only 8 kbs. Not normal

Try changing the DNS on your PC to Google or Cloudflare vs your local ISP; this can seriously help with all cloud services. Pardon if already done.

Apple TV might be having bandwidth issues, or something going on … as I’m trying to download season 2 of a series in 4K DV-DA, and ep 1 finished, then ep 2 stuck on 10% processing. This is with latest version of SF, USA, legal account, not streaming from any other device on 1GB connection with powerful PC with 96GB RAM, gen5 NVMEs (etc.).

I’ve been having the same issue. Yesterday I was able to download The Family Plan 2, no problem. Went to download Silo S1E1, waited over 50 mins, when it got to downloading audio it looked like it stopped so I cancelled it. That’s downloading at 720p. Reported my problem to the StreamFab Member center, so far been getting same answers that are on here, very frustrating. Been having no problem with Netflix, HBO Max, etc…

Hm. So just for laughs, went back to my download queue; paused all; then restarted SF (and make that damn black friday banner go away already!!). Then hit the > arrow on episode 2. Downloaded up to 80/mbs, without any trouble (4K/DV,DA). Waited a little bit while working on something. Didn’t close SF. Then hit > on ep 3. Also no issue. Repeated on ep 4, all good.

So, guessing there might be some pre-caching, look ahead going on with having entire season running in queue (‘waiting to download’). In this case, doing “one at a time” works as expected, and relatively quick vs freezing at 20%.
