Not sure if its just me or not. I can stream hulu with no problem but streamFab seems to want to just sit there and not even try.

thank you... i knew it was coming but not this quick. damn. guess i need to buy the disney+ app now.. I am really getting screwed on StreamFab.. Paramount+ barely works, Hulu is now dead. those are the only two licenses i purchased lifetime on .. go figure

So its working again for me finally. Filling up my list to download through the end of the year..

Sadly, HULU has a habit of not working for day or two sometimes ever since the slow roll into merging into the D+ app. I finally cancelled my HULU account to see if they offer me some kind of special "HULU is now on D+, come back for special deal..." -- ha.

Now that 7003 claims to have 4K DV downloads, does this mean they fixed the very long lingering issue with TV shows no longer being available in 1080p h265?

simchris I had no issues getting TV shows in 1080p on HULU aside from shows not supporting 1080p. Probably want to provide an example of a show you cannot get in 1080p?

Some shows not in 1080p on HULU won’t be 1080p on “HULU on D+” either.

Most any show on there, let’s say Law & Order just to keep it simple. Is h265 offered? That stopped working eons ago, h264 only, even though h265 is on Hulu itself.

Hi, ironically, I just cancelled my HULU account, since nothing new on there I want to watch, and downloaded all the old series I cared about the past 12 months. Sorry, don’t have perfect answer for that. 1080p not specific to H265 or H265.

Most of 2025 all I ever saw was Disney+ w/Hulu bundles.
Even if I went to the Hulu site, it was only offered as a package with Disney+

It’s still up in the air what will happen to Hulu in 2026, I was kind of taken back with streamfab saying:
Added support to download 4K/1080p Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) video quality from Hulu US.
Maybe it still will be accessible via Hulu.com? Or, Hulu.com will even be available n 2026.

I still see price increases coming no matter what happens with Disney+ including Hulu.
I forget who all I got emails from saying price increases coming for 2026.

To me that means they reworked the manifest that is being served and what you can now download, from HULU, not Disney+. I dunno.
I could hope. But we still see the same thing with Disney+. New shows, h264.

You will still be able to subscribe to ONLY HULU, but you will only be able to view that via the Disney + app. My AppleTv interface, for example, now shows a HULU tab at t he very top, to jump right to that. Kind of like HBO having the different sub channels in their interface.

The HULU standalone app will soon be gone forever, sometime in 2026. Everything will likely redirect to the D+ app. D+ has been pushing single account login/password for both all year.

For all you know, they may keep Hulu.com and may decide about the app.

From what I hear, the Hulu app may already redirect to Disney.
And it can easily be done with Hulu.com can just be redirected to Disney.
I am almost willing to bet Disney don’t even know till it all settles down.

I don’t see many deals myself, I just may wait till after the new year because I want to try some different providers, even if at full price, and then decide how long I want to keep them till I cancel.
My idea about Amazon is shot, I am not buying Paramount+ or any other provider through them.
I can do without P+ as I don’t have it as a streaming provider now. I was also going to look into HBO via Amazon, but I can do without or maybe try through HBO direct. I was again looking also at MGM+. No matter what, I don’t expect to keep them for more than 3 to 4 months. And I won’t go crazy doing huge amounts of downloading no matter who it is or how I access.

Amazon already knows if I did not order stuff for delivery, Prime would be gone.

I wonder, if the “original Hulu” can combine HDR10 and Dolby Vision in a single file, maybe Disney+ can too?

In the US, lots of Hulu content is missing on that tab in your screenshot. I am a bundle customer so I should see it all.
Simpsons S37 is one such example.

I don’t know if they need more time, although they had plenty of time.
Or they are going to stick it to US customers or still require getting some Hulu content via Hulu.com.
As yes, season 37 is only on Hulu.com.

Stan001 if you have Hulu as well as D+, S37 of Simpsons is a separate (don’t ask me why) title to S01-S36 of Simpsons, use D+ search, and you should be able to get it, at least it worked before my subs ran out
