Well, more notes on my side….
Doctor Strange (2016).
Use SF to navigate to that film, the page shows IMAX Enhanced, along with all the other markings like HDR, etc., while I SF’s analyzing box is on the screen. When the selection box finally pops up, the Main Movie is checked by Default, if I then select H265, HDR10, and 3840×2160 and download, I get the 4K with Imax scenes, and file name is matches my template as…. Doctor Strange (2016) {edition-}.mkv No mention of the Imax enhanced features in the meta data when viewing with MediaInfo. Its just like any other normal download. Playback does show the 1.9:1 aspect ratios from time to time as expected with this movie.
If I unselect the Main Movie, then expand Extras, then Versions, and select the IMAX Enhanced - Doctor Strange, I again get the 4K with IMAX scenes. The file name is IMAX Enhanced - Doctor Strange () {edition-}.mkv . The empty parentheses are due to not getting the year, and I don’t see it in the files meta data. The Meta data (as viewed with MediaInfo) does say Imax Enhanced Features in the description. And of course, it does have the 1.9:1 ratio scenes.
The file size for these two are only off by a few bytes. 4K to be exact. 9,637,188KB for the Main Movie download, vs 9,637,184KB for the IMAX enhanced. I’m guessing this is due to the meta data info.
It would be great if the IMAX Enhanced from Extras -> Versions did have the YEAR in the file name (based on naming template). @Wilson.Wang is there anything the developers can do to include the year?
