Could not care less about any of these. Based on all the feedback, **this** is what you want to work on? Not individual episode analysis? Not fixing the naming template needing ..\..\ just to not have unwanted folders? Ok...

As far as I know, the maximum they all have is DD+ and DD+ w/Atmos. Because if you mean some kind of AI tool to do the enhancement after download, then NO thank you. But if you mean updates to the way StreamFab downloads to be able to grab even higher bit rates for audio/video and more opportunities to download EAC3-JOC (aka DD+ w/Atmos), then yes please.

@"0xFeedBeef"#p473970 Which is exactly why version 7 is such a disappointment. They claimed it was a full rewrite so you'd think they would have considered this. I personally don't buy it. It looks like it was a copy/paste and the whole rewrite was only the UI. Not the engine under the hood.

No mention of Individual Episode Analysis. I have exactly zero reasons to believe it will happen anytime soon. If it does, then my faith will be partially restored. In the meantime, I will continue to be cynical and skeptical because they have shown us exactly what they do with our feedback: 1. Implementing stuff in a clunky way that doesn't quite work or is useless for most - Scheduler - Interval downloading 2. Removing a feature instead of fixing it - Downloading from multiple VIP sites simultaneously - Adding to the queue while downloading from same service 3. Completely ignoring the feature request - Individual Episode Analysis 4. Never finishing a feature - Naming Template

🤣 I have no idea, lots of things annoy me too, and I'm disappointed that it's just a facelift.

Already noted in comments, but this is a big one for me: **Downloading from multiple VIP services simultaneously.** A prior product I used (AnyStream) was able to do this, and even allowed the user to specify how many simultaneous downloads to allow (ex: 1, 2, up to 5) so the user could optimize it based on their system resources.

I also want to see a fix to the download queue to ... (1) allow analysis from a provider when a download from that provider is already in progress. Too many times you realize you wanted to queue up something else, but you have to wait for the download to finish or wait to pause the queue to add a new title. and (2) make PAUSE actually work to suspend and resume from where it left off. If you hover over the PAUSE button on the provider banner in the queue, it shows "Pause the task" - the implication is you can pause now and resume it later . However, when you pause the provider the active download is CANCELED. It's not pending resumption - if you click PLAY thinking you'll resume, it starts over from analysis > downloading > processing > reumxing. It's not a pause - it's a "reset".

As I read through this thread, I see lots of “add this service…” or “add ability to download at XXXX resolution”… I realize everyone wants for StreamFab to keep expanding services it supports and breaking encryption to support 4K on all services, etc. I mean, I think its a given that we all want SF to download the best possible video and audio. Like the highest resolutions (4K), video bit rate, efficent codec (HEVC/H265/AV1), and best Audio Codec (EAC3 JOC) with highest bitrates (768kbps at least when JOC, 640k when just EAC3). [Yes, I understand the Source Files and DRM in use on each service impacts this]

But when I read “features” in the OP, I think more about the UI, usability, how it analyzes, default options, how it works/user workflow, etc. And maybe fixing long standing bugs (naming template still gets info wrong sometimes, scheduler isn’t reliable).

I’m hopeful when the FAB Team looks at these posts, they can sift through it all, and categorize them.

I know its a long shot, but I hope they share the road map with us once its finalized (And please pad any date estimates by 6 months, just in case).

Add Movistar+ Spain suport. By now SF downloads are using DRM MPD but it’s a 5000 kbs bitrate video and AAC 2.0 audio when Movistar+ broadcasts 8500 kbps video bitrate and DD+ 5.1 256 kbps audio bitrate.

With regards to YoutubeToMP3Process, StreamFab’s proprietary version of yt-dlp, I have two requests. Either of the two will accomplish the same objective which is to allow SF to be using the very latest yt-dlp (aka yt-dlp nightly build). Request #2 also allows for the use of the latest stable version of yt-dlp.

1) DVDFab needs to produce a YoutubeToMP3Process using the latest nightly yt-dlp from the date of the latest SF update. This will allow SF to use the latest features and fixes that yt-dlp has to offer.

2) As far as I know there are only two differences between yt-dlp and YoutubeToMP3Process. They are the additions of two StreamFab options that follow and are in YoutubeToMP3Process.

Even if there are more than 2 differences, DVDFab knows what they are and can set them up in a separate StreamFab proprietary program (or have it built into the StreamFab program itself) thus leaving the user the ability to change out the yt-dlp program (no more named YoutubeToMP3Process) with either the latest stable yt-dlp or the latest nightly yt-dlp. Ideally, #2 would be the better choice, allowing the user to decide which yt-dlp they want to use. As of this writing, StreamFab’s YoutubeToMP3Process is dated more than a month old and is equivalent to yt-dlp’s stable version. Yt-dlp’s latest nightly is 2026.01.06 and contains lots of added features and fixes that do not presently appear in the current 7.0.0.6 version of StreamFab.

I would like to see StreamFab have the ability to run external programs or scripts, both before and after a SF download. StreamFab already has the settings for running “Burn to Disk” (DVDFab) and “Enhance Quality” (UniFab) post-processing, so it should be easy to add additional external programs or scripts. This request was initially made in March 2024.

AnttDvdFab To add to what people have already said - fix what we keep reporting as broken. In addition to that, simple quality of life items like having SF remember where it was when I closed it, and being able to dock it like it is a real window would make things seem smoother and remove the ‘every time I launch the app I get frustrated’ moments.

Well, I’ll be darned. Looks like they are listening to some of our suggestions. With version 7.0.0.7 they have the Window remembering its position so I don’t have to move it each and every time! Thanks, @Wilson.Wang ! I tested it out and it works!

I know this was an easy fix and there are bigger issues to tackle, but QOL (quality of life) updates certainly help!

Something I’d like to see in Streamfab is the task/download list feature applied to all sites (all the YouTube like ones) not only the ones that restrict the number of simultaneous streams (like amaxon)
