As far as I know, the maximum they all have is DD+ and DD+ w/Atmos. Because if you mean some kind of AI tool to do the enhancement after download, then NO thank you. But if you mean updates to the way StreamFab downloads to be able to grab even higher bit rates for audio/video and more opportunities to download EAC3-JOC (aka DD+ w/Atmos), then yes please.

@"0xFeedBeef"#p473970 Which is exactly why version 7 is such a disappointment. They claimed it was a full rewrite so you'd think they would have considered this. I personally don't buy it. It looks like it was a copy/paste and the whole rewrite was only the UI. Not the engine under the hood.

No mention of Individual Episode Analysis. I have exactly zero reasons to believe it will happen anytime soon. If it does, then my faith will be partially restored. In the meantime, I will continue to be cynical and skeptical because they have shown us exactly what they do with our feedback: 1. Implementing stuff in a clunky way that doesn't quite work or is useless for most - Scheduler - Interval downloading 2. Removing a feature instead of fixing it - Downloading from multiple VIP sites simultaneously - Adding to the queue while downloading from same service 3. Completely ignoring the feature request - Individual Episode Analysis 4. Never finishing a feature - Naming Template

🤣 I have no idea, lots of things annoy me too, and I'm disappointed that it's just a facelift.

Already noted in comments, but this is a big one for me: **Downloading from multiple VIP services simultaneously.** A prior product I used (AnyStream) was able to do this, and even allowed the user to specify how many simultaneous downloads to allow (ex: 1, 2, up to 5) so the user could optimize it based on their system resources.

I also want to see a fix to the download queue to ... (1) allow analysis from a provider when a download from that provider is already in progress. Too many times you realize you wanted to queue up something else, but you have to wait for the download to finish or wait to pause the queue to add a new title. and (2) make PAUSE actually work to suspend and resume from where it left off. If you hover over the PAUSE button on the provider banner in the queue, it shows "Pause the task" - the implication is you can pause now and resume it later . However, when you pause the provider the active download is CANCELED. It's not pending resumption - if you click PLAY thinking you'll resume, it starts over from analysis > downloading > processing > reumxing. It's not a pause - it's a "reset".

Pretty much all of the suggestions we provided for your version 7 were ignored, @Wilson.Wang . Why do we think you’ll be able to convince us that our opinion for the roadmap matters?

To add to what people have already said - fix what we keep reporting as broken. In addition to that, simple quality of life items like having SF remember where it was when I closed it, and being able to dock it like it is a real window would make things seem smoother and remove the ‘every time I launch the app I get frustrated’ moments.

Well, I’ll be darned. Looks like they are listening to some of our suggestions. With version 7.0.0.7 they have the Window remembering its position so I don’t have to move it each and every time! Thanks, @Wilson.Wang ! I tested it out and it works!

I know this was an easy fix and there are bigger issues to tackle, but QOL (quality of life) updates certainly help!

1-Need to make the text and icons BIGGER so they can be more clearly seen.
2-In the DOWNLOADED Tab, add check boxes to videos that have already downloaded so you can pick multiple videos to remove from history. Right now you either have to delete them all or go through each one individually to remove the ones you want. With a check box you can remove multiple videos at once.

I’d rather that StreamFab works on improving the quality of the existing features before expanding to add more.
One example is iQiyi. It has been a painful experience, since the software behaves erratically and sometimes works and sometimes does not. The same episodes sometimes are only recognized in low resolution but if we try again after a few minutes, it works. Or vice-versa. Sometimes the software only offers the option to download audio files from video files.
Writing to customer support is useless, since it appears that StreamFab replaced the people for AI bots.
As it is today, I do not feel encouraged/confident to buy any other StreamFab product, at least until I see that it’s treating them and its customers seriously.

REQUEST: Move the option to enable/disable AUTO-ANLYZE out of Settings and make it a toggle option directly in the left pane above the MY ACCOUNT menu.

There are some services that you need to navigate to specific seasons/episodes before analyzing, and it’s a pain to keep going into settings to toggle off, then back on again.

Having it as a direct and visible toggle allows end-users to quickly work with their services very efficiently.

Don’t know about Amazon but I know that that likely isn’t in the card for Netflix at all. Netflix caps is resolution to 1080p on PC unless its using the app or Microsoft Edge.

So the only way that will happen is if they manage to spoof Microsoft Edge including it’s DRM or emulate a Roku or Apple TV or something else enough to fool it and keep that updated. Or maybe spoof the Microsoft Store app, but that is just an update away from failing.,

But, if they successfully managed to emulate a Roku that can handle OS updates and all, that would basically break everything wide open for the next few years.

StreamFab never claimed that downloads from Amazon are in 4K. I don’t understand what all this constant complaining is about.

Feature suggestion:

Those of us that used AnyStream before know that the files downloaded by that tool didn’t need the extra processing (Decrypting) and remuxing that StreamFab does.

The suggestion is to use Real-Time Decryption just like n_m3u8dl-RE does (–mp4-real-time-decryption).

Those that use MP4 will be happy as they will have their downloads usable quickly and the ones, like me, who prefer .mkv files will just have to wait for the remux but at least skip the processing phase, which can be long and unnerving since the processing progress bar has been iffy forever.

Adding a request that would greatly enhance usability and efficiency for those manually downloading the latest TV episode: add an option in settings to let users control WHICH episode is pre-selected in the download dialog.

For example:

Settings >
Analyze TV Episodes and pre-select:
[ ] Nothing (no episode is selected)
[ ] the EARLIEST episode in the EARLIEST season available
[ ] the NEWEST episode in the MOST RECENT season

I don’t use the SF Scheduler for new TV episodes (because it’s extremely unreliable) so every day I select a series and wait for analysis, and SF always pre-selects the first episode of the oldest season, so I always have to UNCHECK (deselect) that episode, collapse that season, and scroll down to the latest season to manually select the latest episode.

For me, I’d use OPTION 3 above and it would make me SO happy because the most recent episode would ALWAYS be pre-selected in the download dialog.

And if I wanted a full series/all episodes, simple matter to scroll up and select the “ALL” checkbox above the season list.

** I don’t know if there should be a 4th option, “Default SF behavior”, because there are SOME shows and services that when I analyze the series, it pre-selects the EARLIEST episode in the CURRENT/LATEST season (ex: season 5 episode 1). I haven’t figured out the how or why of that. The “Default” option would basically be to do what it’s always done, which may depend on the service. I’m not sure how to encapsulate that as an option in my proposed Settings options.

Améliorer la détection des séries sur certains sites dans la catégorie youtube. StreamFab ne détecte pas l’intégralité des épisodes et il faut alors télécharger les épisodes un par un ce qui peut être long, plutôt que télécharger une saison complète d’un coup.
