Anybody having problems with Paramount + downloader after update 7.0.1.9?

After Update 7.0.1.9 It’s hard to login and once I get in the downloader will not analyze any movie or TV show for downloading. Movies and TV shows stream fine though.

Since I tested several P+ US accounts (using 7011+7019) today ..
.. I can say that I have no login problems with different VPN servers.

And I also downloaded several episodes of different series today.

Perhaps it’s a local issue – which title did you try in which country?

I am having an issue with 70.1.9.. Everything downloads fine but I just watched Tracker and Marshals. On both those series at some point (tracker at 22 minutes and Marshals at 27 minutes) the audio jumps back about 2 minutes and begins playing “Descriptive Audio”.

The only available solution (as workaround) is the use of SF <7012

Paramount+ audio breaks and is non existent after first commercial marker break

Please close SF and try to rename/delete the cache dir in
%AppData%\DVDFab\StreamFab\rootCachePath
and relogin

If that doesn’t help try complete uninstall and fresh reinstallation.

Otherwise specify title and country ..
.. ideally attach your StreamFab.log

Off topic, also, since the last update, Streamfab seems to slow to a crawl when downloading to the point the PC asks if I want to terminate the task before finally picking back up and finishing. The videos appear fine at the end though, so not a huge deal. Just annoying. Might also be related to how I moved its working directory from my SSD to a normal spinning hard drive to save my SSD some life to it.

Honestly wish they gave an option to just use system RAM for the working space. PC typically sits at about 50GB of free system memory i could use which would save my storage a decent amount of wear and tear.

Also, learning that Paramount is just butt across the board. The video quality is just horrible compared to what you find elsewhere.

I am having issues now where paramount downloader will not pick up the newier content. In Australia the latest aleague matches or the woemsn asian cup final will not be in the list to download

I don’t understand the offered order ..
.. but “Japan vs. Matildas” (E11) is being offered to me.
Slow with vpn for long distance - but works for me

Yup, it’s hosed. As others have suggested, it drops to descriptive audio after each break.

The excuse and ‘solution’ given here is unacceptable. Devs need to fix this issue, instead of individual telling people to drop versions back to ancient garbage that has issues with other services.

I have never recommended using SF <7012 instead of the
current version as a general rule (and I don’t dit it myself) ..
.. but both work without issues side by side.

btw: Here are no Devs and the SF Product Manager posted last time
(in SF) 17 days ago and last login in forum was 5 days ago.

I am having the same problem, only in reverse. The screen goes black but the audio seams to be okay. I have only tried Tracker and NCIS Sydney Seasons 3, episodes 13 and newer. I was on v 7.0.1.7 and skipped 7.0.1.8 to go to 7.0.1.9.

I have not been able to download anything from Paramount+. Some things will play inside StreamFab and some things won’t. It doesn’t matter if it plays or not, it never gives me the option to download it.

All my other services work fine.
I don’t use a VPN
I can watch all content in my browser without any issues.
I have tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling it.
I have logged out, cleared cache, and logged back in.

If I try to play the content in StreamFab i get errors like in the attached image. Even if it does play, I still never get an option to download. It never analyzes the videos to give me the option to download.

The way I download from other sites is when I go to any season of a show, it starts analyzing and then gives me a window allowing me to put check marks in every show I want to download and add them to the queue. Is there a way to make this happen manually? I don’t see any button or option in the interface to trigger that.

I have even tried copying the URL for the video itself and pasting it in to the Download section but it does nothing.

Paramount+ error code 3005 typically indicates a network connectivity issue, content unavailability, or an app malfunction, often caused by active VPNs, ad blockers, or corrupted cache data. I can play all content in any other browser with no issues. Just not in the StreamFab app itself.
I already reinstalled StreamFab
I cleared the cache as well as history
I restarted the computer
This is just one error I get. Even if I don’t get an error and the content plays, it still never prompts me to download.

When you say try other browsers, maybe this is my misunderstanding. I’m not trying to download from Chrome or something like that. I’m trying to download while browsing from within the StreamFab app itself. Is there a way to do this direct from the browser of my choice instead of using the StreamFab app’s built in browser?

Germania It really doesn’t matter what title, I can’t download anything. If it helps though, the show is Air Disasters. The particular episode I was trying to download was Season 23 Episode 1.

After update. 7.0.2.0 I’m still getting the same thing, I can stream videos from paramount+ fine, but when I go to download any video from paramount+ it streams but does not analyze any video selected. VPN off AD blockers off, checked all setting and uninstalled and reinstalled SF, no change.

Another problem with paramount and only paramount when just staring SF up and selecting paramount+ app all I get is a blank white screen. I have to close paramount+ open another app and come back to paramount+ to get it to open, then only to receive and message about from paramount+ downloader update: We’ve upgraded paramount+ downloader to support video’s in 4K and 1080 quality. To continue using this feature, please sign out of your current paramount+ account and sign in again. I have done that a million times and still get this message which has no effect unless this is part of the original problem I stated earlier.

I just don’t know what else to check for, like I said all other downloaders work fine.
