I am almost to the point of being tired of posts about slow downloads.
Unless it’s something 5 or more people experance it’s probably location, internet or some other local fanominon.
Remember stream providers are NOT required to give 1 gig speeds or even half that speed, they only need to provide fast enough speeds for users to stream. And myself with dealing with Netfkix their app buffers and or caches so speed very rarely affects viewing,
I am certain most other providers apps do buffering and/or caching to give the best viewing experance.
I know we can’t go by what even an ISP told me but they swear 300 Meg per second is enough for most streaming but offer 500 Meg per second for those with a large household of streaming devices,.
I do have 1 gig plus but looking to cut my monthly bill.
Yes many ISPs went to 1 gig, 2,5, some even 5 gig or higher but your stream speeds will stay set to what the stream provider limits it to.
Yes downloading from some sites I have seen 1 gig plus speed in action even 5 gig, but it depends on the originating source of the download.
Another posted 5 days ago and nothing.
