Need to see if I’m missing something or if someone can point me in the right direction to get started.
Several years ago, I purchased several movies from Apple TV. No problem. Still available through the Apple TV.app under my library. And I can d/l them locally and watch them but only through the TV.app.
At any given time, many/most of these movies are not available for streaming from AppleTV, so they can’t be found on the website to stream. And the only way I can access my Library and these films (from the Apple servers or my d/l’s copy) is through the TV.app.
I run all Apple products (MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone. As a point of comparison, I use Firestick’s on my TV’s - and the AppleTV App for the Firestick does grant access and plays these purchased movies.
And, therefore, can’t be d/l’d with StreamFab. But, with the new 7.0.2.2 release, I see where ‘purchased’ movies should be able to be d/l’d now. And there is a Note that says you have to use the website’s Search function to find and d/l the movie in StreamFab.
So, a few questions:
Is it possible or not to d/l purchased movies from AppleTV via StreamFab if they are not on the actively streaming offers?
If so, is there a post/release note/etc. that would get me started? I’ve tried to research it on my own but haven’t found anything yet.
And, if this isn’t an option, are there any suggestions for alternatives for being able to take my downloaded .m4v files and removing the DRM so I can lay them on my media player of choice for whatever device I am on?
I hope this all makes sense. Feel free to ask me any questions. And TIA for any ideas or help.
