Audio Description (en) audio track downloaded instead of regular

While downloading from Discovery+, Gold rush Season 16 from episode 12 to current I get the AD audio, don’t matter if I use 720 or 1080. Could there be a fix...

I upload SF log, MediaInfo and screenshot. In screenshot AD isn’t visible as an audio choice, but in MediaInfo you can see it’s AD. I masked my MAC address and e-mail in log.

I can mention one more thing. Yesterday in 7.0.2.6 it worked to analyse the single episode S07E01. But today after updating to 7.0.2.7 (offline installer) it was impossible to do that. SF show all seasons even though I use the URL to that specific episode https://www.discoveryplus.com/shows/rock-the-block/s7/31277dc0-213e-449d-9215-4b46a2fd3497/e1-nice-to-meet-you-now-grab-a-hammer/8f0868c6-2a9d-42e1-95b0-a3bc2c0ced77

I found a way to solve it. 🙂

In the search box at D+ site, I searched for the episode name “Nice to Meet You, Now Grab a Hammer”. Then after that I could analyse only S07E01. Then both with and without AD was listed, and after download it was without AD when I played it.

Yesterday in 7.0.2.6 when it worked to analyse only S07E01 (without using search), then only “English” was available in drop-down list, but after download it was with AD anyway.

martin3 so seems that SF doesn’t differentiate between AD and non-AD tracks when the former appear half way through the series, or are the AD tracks available from S1E1?

I don’t have time to test more today. I can test more tomorrow.

Now I have tested. Season 1-6 have totally 37 episodes. Only 2 of 37 (seems strange but it’s correct) have AD and it’s S04E01 and S06E01. Season 7 have AD for all 7 episodes. In total, 9 episodes of 44 have an AD track.

I can confirm the problem is fixed in 7.0.2.9. Now it’s working the “usual” way again. It’s not needed any longer to search for the specific episode name to be able to download without AD.
