I have had my Amazon account put on hold twice in just over a month now.
After getting it reinstated the first time without any real explanation of why it was suspended, I have gone another few weeks without issue, downloading movies as usual using Streamfab.
Now this morning I have gotten another temporary hold text and email which states the following:
**"Hello,
We have indefinitely suspended this account pursuant to Section 6.a. of the Prime Video Terms of Use because we have found you to be in violation of the said Terms.
The Prime Video Terms of Use Section 4.k. prohibits you to (i) transfer, copy or display the Digital Content, except as permitted in the Terms of Use; (ii) sell, rent, lease, distribute, or broadcast any right to the Digital Content; (iii) remove any proprietary notices or labels on the Digital Content; (iv) attempt to disable, bypass, modify, defeat, or otherwise circumvent any digital rights management or other content protection system used as part of the Service; or (v) use the Service or Digital Content for any commercial or illegal purpose.
If you had open orders on this account, those orders were canceled when we closed the account. Any digital content that you purchased with this account will no longer be available to you. No refund will be provided.
If you believe this was done by mistake, please contact Amazon Customer Service.
Sincerely,
Account Specialist"**
I would assume they are tracking our downloads while using StreamFab and it is drawing a flag of suspicious behavior deemed wrong and against their terms of use.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I run most of my video subscriptions through Amazon Prime Video now and this really is a bummer if my account which I have had for many years gets suspended permanently if it ultimately comes down to the use of StreamFab.
