I am not a developer .. so I cannot modify SF either
(and I don’t speak Italian either)

If all SF users were affected, dozens of users would have come forward ..
.. so it is likely attributable to the usage habits of just a few.

Leider konnte der Mitarbeiter mir das auch nicht sagen. Lediglich die Tatasache, das “irgendetwas” mit dem Account nicht passt. Er hat nur die v4-IP mit mir abgestimmt und versucht ein neues Passwort zu generieren. Aber auch mit diesem gab es keine Login-Möglichkeit mehr. Habe daraufhin gekündigt und lege in ein paar Wochen einen neuen Account mit neuer Email an (war übrigens sein Tipp!).

I think disney is detecting streamfab browser and temporary banning any ips using it. i cant login to disney after trying to log in to disney with streamfab.

95% of that traffic is literally from D+

Of course, if you’re downloading every single audio language and every single subtitle language, that’s a different story… 🤷‍♂️

Or you’re using “residential VPN” that allows others to log in to D+ from your location…

The short of it is: we don’t know why people are getting blocked, but there is certainly a ton of atypical “watching” behaviour on the forum…

Besides, the issue is clearly the IP address not the actual D+ id!

I’m also having my access blocked. In my case, it doesn’t matter which IP or device I connect from, I keep getting the same message: ‘Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred.’ I contacted Disney+ support via chat and they ‘unblocked’ my account, but after downloading almost 2 seasons of HIMYM (both audio tracks and subtitles in Spanish and English), it got blocked again in exactly the same way.

My access is again also revoked. Same thing as last time too, one movie actually watched and 24 downloads succeeded, failed on the 25th.

Downloads were ALL subtitles but only ENG audio so perhaps even subtitles are triggering the ban hammer?
Downloads were also 480p content so all whizzed by quick which could also play a part.

When (if) my account magically resumes, I’ll try the limit 10 then pause feature in SF and see if that makes a difference.

0xFeedBeef To be honest I haven’t tried, but all browsers (including SF) are blocked.

Account logs in again and plays today. I have started watching a couple of movies for 5 or so minutes each and done one successful download. I’ll leave it at that until tomorrow (bedtime now) and report back if that single DL has triggered anything.

This is not unlike the previous D+ behaviour from about 3 or so years back where it would do a temp-ban for about 24 hours.

I also called customer support and they forwarded my problem “to the responsible department”. The lady on the phone said, I should wait for a week for the department to do its work and that she would unblock my account for the time so I could try watching stuff.

Her unblocking the account at least made me able to log in back to disneyplus.
But I couldn’t really watch any videos on my PC, since I got an error message (83) and I couldn’t open the stream. Streaming on my phone worked.
After a few days I suddenly received a welcome mail from disney plus as if I had just created an account, which indicated for me that the department did their stuff. After that I could watch videos again on all devices.
I’ve waited for another two days and today I started downloading again, which lead to the account being blocked again after downloading about a season of a show.
Unfortunately unsubscribing doesn’t work right now because of yet another error message, so I will wait for another few days before contacting them again and then I will end the subscription.

UPDATE (14 hours after the original post): I seem to be able to log back into D+ without the error message and without contacting customer support. Will delete the account in a few days anyway and not attempt additional downloads for now.

Since this apparently affects several people
specifically, that unblocking after multiple dl’s via SF
leads to the account being blocked again ..
.. it seems obvious that one is under special scrutiny
after the first instance of blocking.

Given that, it seems sensible to stream only until the end of the contract
after an incident like that and to get a new, “inconspicuous” account.

Germania If this carries on, I, for one, would like to congratulate the executives at Disney+ for turning paying customers into warez consumers, sad to see corporate greed not seeing past the 1st order consequences… 🤷‍♂️

LOL…..,D+ does seem to be twitchy. I will say, my own “play it safe” behavior is to actually watch more than I download from a provider, vs just using the account for downloads. Kind of blesses the account where they track number of hours watched. Like AMZN, you can go into your account and it will show you how many hours “watched.” Based on barely reading many of the comments, stuff like ’I got my account back and started downloading 100 items…." – seems like that would trigger something if I were the mediahawkbot.

I renamed it, but it’s not working. My problem isn’t with Netflix, but with Disney+. Since yesterday afternoon (I’m from Spain), I haven’t been able to log in. I had the program open and was downloading from Disney+ without any problems. After a while, I wanted to download a series; it scanned and I left it downloading, but nothing downloaded. Then I realized that my Disney+ session had closed, and since then I haven’t been able to log in.

Then your account will probably be blocked outside of SF as well - see above

Anybody help me pls, i have SF vers. 7031 for MAC but i can’t analyse or download Disney+ video any longer. I’ve cleared the cache and log files to no avail.
