.. SF don’t use PlayReady for Amazon.

I just mentioned in another thread that when I downloaded a new episode of a series on PrimeVideo, I got an error saying the decryption key couldn’t be obtained, which is happening with all the new Disney+ releases. I hope they fix it soon.

I confirm, i can’t download anything from Prime today, the Chrome version is too old (Error 7132), yesterday it was working fine by the way 🙁 , Disney, now prime, please do something SF !! Thank you.

Hello, lastest version of SF, I have this yellow header thats telling me my Chrome version is too old and is no longer compatible with Prime, so I can’t download anymore content frome Prime.

Edit : Chrome older version isn’t an issue, the decryption Key for new content (since today) like Disney and RTL is actually the issue !

I’m having the same problem; I get that message saying my browser isn’t compatible, even though I can download. What I haven’t been able to download is an episode of a new series that came out today (Scrublands). It says it couldn’t obtain the decryption key, and this same issue has been occurring for the last two days on Sky Showtime and especially on Disney+ with all the new releases.
Please, I hope you fix this soon. Thank you.

The series I mentioned earlier, “Scrublands,” and just now they added the movie “Omukade,” and the same thing—it can’t be downloaded because it gives a decryption key error. That’s all the new content available, as I’ve already mentioned with Disney+.

Same here. I’ve been getting the same error when trying to download new titles from Amazon since today, for example ‘Scrublands’. SF 7.0.42.

Odonellmad cannot test this title, it is not available in my region… Newest title in my region is Sterling Point and this title is downloaded without an issue.

Anything new, Purchases and others, the Chrome version isn’t an issue actually, like miancasal said, anything old (sooner than today) actually works, so the decryption key actually is the problem, like Disney. Thank you.

If you have a Paramount channel subscription with Prime, you can use your Amazon credentials to directly download from Paramount+ … I just confirmed new downloads from the direct site are still working. (I have Paramount+ with Showtime as a channel on Prime and just got the new Star Trek Strange New Worlds episode from today in 4K using P+ in SF)

In a standalone browser, go to https://www.paramountplus.com/partner/ and you’ll see option to sign in with Prime, then you can use Paramount+ in StreamFab.

I can see that some titles are working and some are not and some of the ones giving the ‘decryption key error’ are older titles. So as it’s already been pointed out there is an issue. But the reason for this post is one of the titles I was doing is an tv series where most seem to be ok, with no key error, but a small number are not and return the error. I know each episode will have it’s own key, but I would have thought if some worked, all would.

Name of series - The Legend of Shen Li ( for the frst 10 Ep 1-2, 4-6, 8-9 - all ok, the rest failed )

It’s already been mentioned that newer titles are affected, but I’m also unable to download many much older titles from Amazon Germany. For example, with Antigang from 2015, SF says that it failed to obtain the decryption key. So it doesn’t seem to be simply a matter of chronology, as other titles from the very same year, such as Taken 3, still work fine for me.

Antigang was offered again today at pv in DE ..
.. and, as is often the case with PV, re-encrypted.

So the current Widevine CDM 4.10.3050 is required to retrieve the key ..
.. however, this has not yet been cracked by SF => see also here
For the same reason, obtaining the key also fails for many other providers.
