Unfortunately, 1.0.7.3 won't start

Hi, I’ve installed version 1.0.7.3 several times now—initially as an update and also multiple times as a full version (clean install)—but unfortunately, it won’t run. Only the startup window with the Music Fab logo and version number appears, and then it vanishes. Nothing happens after that.
I’ve tried installing both with and without antivirus software and the firewall active, but that didn’t seem to be the issue either.
My operating system is Windows 11 / 25H2.
StreamFab, by the way, runs without any problems.

Maybe someone has some advice.

Update: I tried installing Music Fab on three different computers. All three have different configurations, yet the process always stops at exactly the same point. It looks like there is an issue accessing the server information, as that is where the startup process aborts.

Confirm same issue here in US, no VPN; x64 installed as admin, Win64PRO latest.
Closes on “accessing server.”
Will try again later today in case they need to clear cache/ID/key on server or something.

That’s a relief to know the issue isn’t on my end—or with my computers or network.
In any case, something is happening, which is great news. It means we’ll be able to use Music Fab again within the next few days.

I don’t think it’s you…the latest update hasn’t resolved any of my issues with Amazon or YouTube music downloads. Amazon either spins around for ages and does nothing, if you can actually anaylze something it wants to download an empty file (i.e. there is no track duration showing); if you can actually analyze with duration it wants to do OPUS files; if an album and there are any collaborations (i.e. more than one artist named), it wants to leave that track out and will not (no matter what I do) allow a full album (it won’t even let me download in isolation the missing track) As for you tube…sit, wait ages, it then says error 403. More bugs than fixes I’m afraid…await another patch. Clearing my cache did nothing to resolve.

Maybe the programmers have already been replaced by really smart AI—that’s how this update feels.

With the new version today, downloaded from the alt location, was able to download two albums from PRIME here in the US. Did not show the bitrates when anaylyzing but Mediainfo shows they did come down as FLAC 24/48 as expected.

Es kommt immer die Tabelle mit den ausgewählten Musiktiteln, aber ich habe keinen Button für Download und die Analyse startet nicht, kann auch nicht durch draufklicken auf den Analysebutton starten. Was kann ich machen?

uwe.lenz Autoanalyse in den Einstellungen aktivieren und im Suchfeld die url zum Album/Titel einfügen oder auf den Albumlink im Browserfenster klicken.

I have the same problem: despite using the alternative download link, the program opens, but Amazon Music cannot be analyzed. So, there is no change compared to the problem that existed before the update.

Have you tried the normal processes
a) uninstall old version
b) clear temp/cache folder
c) new install as admin
d) restart PC
e) launch MF
f) try download from PRIME
g) may need to log out, then log back in to PRIME
h) retry

Worth a try. You can also try changing your DNS to GoogleDNS or Cloudflare if using ISP DNS.
You can also try simple repair of permissions on Windows, running terminal as admin, then running SFC /scannow.
