Hey I know DVDFab linux is in early development, and the team is just trying to get basic functionality working at this point. But I want to point out that at some point performance is going to become a critical problem for this version:
Backing up Slumdog Millionaire from BD-50 to BD-25 using
Linux: 03:41:56 (yes, thats 3 HOURS and 41 minutes!)
Windows: 00:27:42
Uhm, thats not exactly a fair comparison, since Windows uses GPU acceleration (in my case NVENC). But for me, I've just wasted my money on the Linux version, because it isn't useful to me at that crazy slow re-encoding rate.
(I'm choosing to think of my payment as investing in your team, with the hope you'll deliver a comparable product).
