How to Customize DVDFab's Navigation Bar

Admin note: This Tip is based on the v8.x.x.x DVDFab GUI, not intended for v9.

This Tip is based on the Windows Vista Ultimate 64x system and I take no personal responsibility if You damage Your Computer!!

This is a fairly simple Tip for all you folks who just don't want to see those tabs for Options or sub-options for whichever feature you don't intend to use. It will not remove the option/sub-option from your computer.

    1. Open DVDFab, Click Common Settings (the green check mark, upper right corner beside the ? mark.) Go to Customize UI and select whichever Options Group you choose not to use or have no interest in within the dropdown. (Example Pic below I completely removed the File to Mobile option)

    2. Once the Options Group is selected within the dropdown box at the top, in the right column you will see the Options to Display. From here start moving all to the Available options box (or just select the sub-options You never use) by clicking on the sub-option highlighting it, then click the tab with the arrow in it moving them to the Available Options box.

    3. When finished, DVDFab will ask to be restarted and there You have it, a Customized Fab just to suit Your personal wants and needs.

    4. Should You later want to get them back just reverse the process. (NOTE: some situations may require You to go to the Folder and search options within Windows and delete the DVDFab folder within the AppData folder. To do this is simple, First You must make the AppData folder visible since by default its invisible in windows. Again very easy.

    5. Open your Documents, toward the upper left corner You should see Organize, click that and scroll down to Folder and search options, again click and a window should open called Folder options, click on the View tab.

    6. Scroll down to Hidden Files and Folders and select Show Hidden Files and Folders. Click apply at the bottom then OK.

    7. Now just Click the Start button and click on the folder You named (between Documents and Your computers pic. You should not only see all your folders such as Downloads, Documents, and Music etc. but the AppData folder should be visible as well. Just click to open and Delete the DVDFab folder
within. (now just go back as described before and to get to the Folder options and select Hide Files and Folders, don't worry next time You restart DVDFab it will create a new one.)
