I searched but didn't see this specific issue noted.
I have a bunch of video files in avi format. They range from 4x3 captures to 1080p captures.
Anyway, when played from the media server, they have stuttering and audio sync issues.
When played on my pc in VLC etc. they files play fine. Media Server is the source over wifi.
I can even play the files from the media server over PLEX on my old ROKU 2 and they play fine.
So I know it is not a drive speed issue or a source file issue. Yeah, capturing in AVI used to be a thing! LOL Unfortunately, I have a bunch of these files.
Maybe I'll try converting a few? But that always reduces quality. Also, I have had Sync issues when trying this in the past.
I guess I just want to know if anyone else has noticed this issue?
