Networking some unexpected thumbnails

Hello fellow DMS enthusiasts, just a heads up really in that networking to the DMS through my windows 10 pc I found some unexpected thumbnails some

were pornographic (male and female) I had just added a couple more movies to the DMS and it all got messed up again you know what its like missing movies

wrong identification and so on . so I thought I would look at some of the folders while I was networked to it on my PC and see if I could find any thing that was

wrong. and I found a few thumbnails with covers of porn movies.

follow these steps to get to thumbnails starting with sdcard

thumbnails ......this is where the porn pics were....

I can only assume that when the DMS is scraping it puts it here in thumbnails

Well...I navigated the file system path you posted and went into sub-directory '0'. It had 2,394 items in it, set the view to 'Extra Large Icons' and scrolled through and indeed found 1 porno pic from a flick called 'The Entourage' which I won't describe here. A lot of the files have a string of numbers after the extension and do not generate thumbnails. This seems to be the case in the other sub-directories as well. There are sub-directories 0-9 and a-f.

I know I don't have any porn media.

Hey just for kicks, tell me what movie cover you see for an item in sub-directory 'd' with a file name 'd5edae24'. This is kind of a test to see if their scraper is consistent across multiple servers. It would be anecdotal evidence that what is on your server is on mine as well.

I have v1010, and did not find either porn thumbs, nor the d5edae24 file.

Thanks Rider, I guess I should state that I am running 1.0.3.7. Did you have the same directory structure though?

Okay pronto1st I'll check back and see your results for the name of the movie who's cover is represented by that file name.

The directory structure appears to be the same in v1010 as Pronto described.

the files that didn't generate thumbnails, did you try opening any with windows paint

No I didn't, but I suspect that they are .jpg files. The extension is .jpg_xxxx_xxxx, where x = a string of numbers.
