Some Blu-Rays seem to use a Pop-up menu for the main menu, for example Gerry Anderson Thunderbirds US release disc 2 to 6 (1 works OK).
When you play an ISO of the Blu-Ray the main menu launches with three options - "Play All", "Select Episode" and "Setup", but the menu selection arrow does not appear (ie there isn't even a default option selected in the menu. If you press the OK/Select button on the remote, it pauses the background motion menu! If you use the cursor keys it skips the motion menu backward or forward. This is a solid issue and there is no way to play any of these ISOs on the movie server. Curiously disc one works OK. I have tried re-ripping the Blu-Rays using "Full Disc" and "Clone" options but get the same result. The ISOs all work perfectly on my PC using PowerDVD.
It looks like the DMS thinks a track is playing rather than the menu being displayed and because of this the Remote control cursor and select buttons are in "Play" mode instead of Menu mode.
This begs the question, why doesn't the remote have Play and Pause buttons? If it did, there would be no mode confusion.
