DMS v2.0.1.0 Beta worst scrape time ever

That was the slowest scrape ever. 11 hours in total to scrape 990 movies 253 TV series and 29 Video's.
I spent all Sunday going through problems that I had with SCRAPPING, even as far as to watch episodes of the effected tv series. I found a few mistakes but in general very little changed. So here is my report.

Web page and DMS problems for movies and TV shows.

1 Genesis (2018) ( https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4469518/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_2 ) now shows as Genesis 2.0 (2018)
2 Star Trek: Axanar (2015) Still no poster
3 Hyde & Seek (2016) Still no poster.
4 Brimstone (2017) is now Brimstone & Glory (2017) you can change The poster (both have a choice of 3 posters, where both the wrong and right poster is displayed)
5 300 (2006) is now Jerusalem 30000 ans d'histoire (2006) you can change The poster (both have a choice of 3 posters, where both the wrong and right poster is displayed)

Star Wars rebels and Tron Uprising doesn't scrape properly. They start at episode 2 as (S01E01), That is why the last episode always end up under "Video's".

In Terra Nova (2011) S01E1-E02 is Genesis: Part 1 and part 2, S01E3 Should be Instinct, but is "What remains E04" All other episodes are out by 1. This could be the reason why S01E12-E13 are under "video's".

Of course I do, It has been mentioned plenty of times in other posts. All I can do for now is wait for someone to add it as a collection. "Everything comes to he who waits". I hope this is true.

Doctor Who (2005) S11E11, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0436992..._=tt_eps_sn_11 has now got a Pre 2005 poster which is frustrating as it is not a new series/year.

I give-up, I'm unable to update the firmware, unable to show my films correctly, the only thing working is the file manager ... like in the 90's ...

You should downgrade to version 1010. In my view the most stabel firmware version so far. I just downgraded this weekend from 2010, due to bad scaping and no possibility to re.match wrong scaping results. just a horrible experience.

I have two DMSes for now two years. Great players with potential, but the chinese culture with releasing unfinished software /firmware is hard to get used to for a european as me.

I have the version 1010 on a USB stick. Plug it in, go to Settings -> About -> USB Upgrade.

I've been thinking about doing this too ( 1.0.1.0 ). But I have been hoping for 2.0.1.2 to come along. It has been a LONG time since 2.0.1.0
Well, I don't know if it is really that long ago, but we were making progress and I wanted to keep the momentum going, so it seems like a long time ago.

Things I like better in this version than 2.x.x.x ( so far )
1. The web browsing is much faster.
2. The Web Details of a Movie or Show are much nicer.
3. You can Click the Actor link and it shows you the other movies that actor is in ( available to your DMS )
4. The Shows are not SPLIT into 2 pieces. That is... ALL of the HULK episodes are under one SHOW, not x number of episodes under one image and the rest under another.
( the hulk is 1 example )
5. Based on my content....More of the TV Shows are matched. However, some that do not match on 1.0.1.0 did match on 2.x.x.x So, this is like a 60/40 win for 1.0.1.0

Advantages for 2.x
1. Better Security
2. Collections ( wish we had a little control of what is in a collection, but I like this! )
3. The database seems more efficient, Size wise.
4. Upside... This will continue to be developed. 1.0.1.0 is what it is.

I am certain I missed items on both lists. I would really need a second unit to do side by side comparing with the same content to truly compare the versions.

Also, I am fond of 1.0.1.0 So, until I use it some more... I forgot about the things I didn't like that 2.x may have fixed.
