Not enough space! but there is

I updated to the latest firmware and now when i try to copy movies from my PC over the network to the MS it says there is not enough space on drive when there is more than enough. The only way to copy movies to the that drive now is to remove it and put it in a hot swap bay in my tower. How do i fix this?

Formatted the drive and it's empty but it's still saying drive is full.
