    DVDFab (UI/General) 64 bit version?

hi! have you planned a 64 bit version of DVDFab for the future?

    may have some advantages?

    I thought DVDFab worked on both 32bit & 64bit systems now !!

      Apples and oranges.

lzk87 is asking will there be a true 64-bit version of Fab released at some point, not if Fab works on a 64-bit system, which it does.

I know it's been talked about, but I couldn't say anything beyond that.
We'll have to wait to hear from the man in Beijing

+1, a true 64bit build of DVDfab would be nice.

You guys would gain absolutely nothing from " Native 64bit " support, this is not Adobe CS5 its a DVD backup program. This program already recognises and supports all the 64 bit drivers what more do you want?

If you are working from the optical drive, it will be the limiting factor. But if you have ripped it to the HDD and are editing HD video having a 64 bit data path will indeed speed things along. The following is a cut and paste from Microsoft:
"Unlike drivers, most programs designed for a computer running a 32-bit version of Windows will run fine on a computer running a 64-bit version of Windows. (Notable exceptions are antivirus programs.) However, most programs designed specifically for a 64-bit version of Windows will often run faster, especially if they involve intensive tasks such as editing high-definition video or operating a large database."

Whoever wrote that is wrong, he didnt take into account your processor or configuration, or for Lords sake their own "Quick Sync". Dont believe everything you read especially from MS.

A simple analogy: A freeway with bumper to bumper traffic all traveling at the same speed (CPU and data bus) which will move more traffic a 32 lane (bit) or a 64 lane (bit) highway? I don’t believe everything I read.
