Even with "Create sub-directory in output directory" unchecked, the DVDFab strategy can still create a sub-directory. If the UI shows, for example:
"F:\StarTrekRaw\STAR_TREK_S2D1.ISO"
as the target, then the ISO should be placed EXACTLY as shown by the UI at the target location and NOT in a sub-directory. The following image shows two unwanted subdirectories and two image files that I had to manually move to their correct location.
If the UI is checked for "Create sub-directory in output directory" then that sub-directory should be shown by the UI at the target location. ie:
"F:\StarTrekRaw\STAR_TREK_S2D1\STAR_TREK_S2D1. ISO"
Currently, the sub-directory is NOT shown.
