DVD Ripper Set all titles to rip using the same profile

If it was possible to set mkv.remux to be the default profile I wouldn't be asking this but I see from a forum response in Aug 2011 that it isn't possible (why is that?).

That becomes a bit of a PITA when ripping a TV series that has lots of episodes as I have to set the profile for each episode to mkv.remux and change the 'Split' option for each of them to no split.

Two questions then:

1) Is it possible to set a profile for several titles at once? e.g. multi-select several titles then set the profile.
2) Is it possible to modify the mkv.remux profile so it defaults to no split rather than 1GB?

For the first, do not support multi-select serveral titles then set the profile. But you can add the serveral titles firstly and then set the profiles in Mobile task queue.
For the second, mkv.remux do not support no split rather than 1GB. Split 1GB/2GB/4GB per file just support for DVD ripper to vob.passthrough.
