I cannot speak for everyone, but why the hell would I want to waste money on still expensive blank dual layer media. When for a fraction of the cost I can burn it onto a DVD5 disk.
I have both DVD5 (in the 100's) and DVD9 (limited supply).
When I had to upgrade to copy Jack Reacher, in the settings I had it set DVD5
However because the UI had changed so dramatically from V8 to V9, I failed to see the default setting on the actual copy UI was set DVD9.
I always overwrite my existing copy of DVDFab, so It didn't even occur to me to see why the it kept rejecting my DVD5 media, I ended up wasting DVD9 media on something that should and could have been copies to DVD5.
