Video Converter Ability to completely pause media convert.

I currently use a laptop to do my conversions.
I'd like to see a feature allowing me to pause a conversion and be able to put the laptop to sleep, for moving by example.

Right now the processing can be done, but the sleep feature of the laptop is locked off by the application.

h265 conversion can be very long to acheive, making that feature most usefull.
