Hi, I'm new to this site and also new to the program. I have had a difficuilt time in finding the correct configurations for transfering to and then playing off of my media server. I know that there are many types of servers even make your own. But even a thread or a chapter in your guideline help section would be a blessing. A configured software platform would benefit DVDFab and it's consumers. Thank you.

There is no guide yet because the answer is very subjective depending on many factors including how much compression is acceptable to you, what your playback device(s) will be, personal preferences, country, and how much money you are willing to spend.
If you already have hardware then I suggest you start a thread in the DVD to Mobile forum (assuming you are trying to rip DVDs). This way others can share their experience with you about the same or similar hardware and make recommendations that you can try.
