UHD drive support for Pioneer BDR-212UBK?

I didn't realize that DVDFab only supported certain drives and firmware for UHD unlike Blu Ray and I purchased a Pioneer BDR-212UBK not realizing it's not supported. The drive support page mentioned that Pioneer drives may be supported in the future and I was wondering if there's an eta on that?

Hi there,

Pioneer BD-RW BDR-XS07U owner here, which looked like a decent piece of USB kit at release, and has been since then pretty serviceable with DVDs and BDs. With my first UHDs, the situation is quite different. Not only UHD is not supported in DVDFab, but DVDFab Player 6 as well seems unable to read UHD discs.

It could be nice if Pioneer drives could get some love, but then, maybe their market share is not significant enough?

Guess I should have read this first, before spending $150 on the "top of the line" BDR-212UBK last week. Maybe return to to Amazon. Any drive suggestions? I have many BD that will not back up with DVDFab.
