DVD Ripper Windows Media Centre MPEG2 Encoding

DVDFab would be near perfect if, MPEG2 encoding to a MPG file would be possible. This would allow Media Centre owners to correctly produce MS-DVR or WTV files.

I think you can just use VOB Passthrough and then change the file extension from VOB to MPG. VOB is just an MPEG2 container.

The audio part has to be in Layer 2 MPEG-1 Audio. AC3, DTS audio is not the default recorded TV file format and will not correctly work within Media Centre as I have discovered. For example you cannot use burn as DVD, or convert onto a portable Zune.
