Instead of copying a blu ray to main movie (blu ray structure) and then finally converting to ISO, wouldn't it be quicker to go straight to ISO whilst copying on the fly?

When copying a blu ray the steps are this:
copy main movie ------> Blu ray structure ------> blu ray iso
Can you make a new update that copies the main movie directly to blu ray iso? -
