I like having subs extracted to a separate file so that I can easily toggle them on and off. However, this can be annoying when watching a movie that has a lot of forced subtitles. I would like to use DVDFab to direct render to video the forced subtitles and also create an idx/sub file that contains the complete subtitles. That way forced subs will always be displayed and I can toggle subs for the normal dialog on when I have the volume really low or someone is speaking with an accent that is hard to understand, etc.
The most straightforward way to implement this would be to change the 'display only forced subtitles' to 'direct render forced subtitles'. The user would still be able to select whether to extract or render the full subs on the edit screen.
