8.0.9.5 QT and Intel QuickSync test

Running QT 8.0.9.5 to test Intel Quick Sync. Doesn't seem to to be any faster at ripping, but still testing settings. I may not have the correct settings yet.

DVD ripping, I see as high as 500+ fps! ...... but the resulting video has lots of stuttering and glitches.

I tried ripping a couple of BD movies. I don't see improvement in fps.

What are the recommended settings for IQS? I am sure that I am just missing something simple.
